Intellectual Property Course – 2. IP Clinic

Under the framework of GRINNAQUA twinning and BlueBio4Future ERA Chair projects, boosting the scientific excellence and innovation capacity at CIIMAR, the second module of the Intellectual Property (IP) course: IP Clinic will take place at CIIMAR – Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões, on the 15th of May 2024.

This specialized course is tailored exclusively for CIIMAR researchers currently engaged in patent submission or on the verge of safeguarding their technological innovations. Designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills necessary for protecting intellectual property, the course will cover essential strategies, legal frameworks, and practical insights – IP Clinic approach. Through interactive sessions and expert guidance, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the intellectual property landscape and learn how to navigate the intricacies of patent protection.

The course will be organized in working groups, where the team for each idea will be taken by the hand by the experts from Patentree and CIIMAR’s Technology Transfer and Business Development Office.

This hands-on and one-on-one format will limit the course to 5 ideas. Each idea selected will have one person responsible who will fill in the form and provide the names of their team mates.

The course is free but participation is dependent on selection. Please make sure to register your idea until the 8th of May 2024.
