CIIMAR research technician short mission to U. Bergen

Mariana Vaz, a GRINNAQUA project technician and PhD student from CIIMAR/University of Bergen, is currently in Norway at the University of Bergen. She is working on a trial for WP3, focusing on how methionine might improve salmon local and systemic responses to sea lice infection. Under the supervision of Dr. Frank Nilsen and Dr. Aina-Cathrine Øvergård, both experts in the Department of Biological Sciences, Mariana is exploring the potential benefits of methionine in enhancing salmon health.
