Under the framework of GRINNAQUA twinning and BlueBio4Future ERA Chair projects, boosting the scientific excellence and innovation capacity at CIIMAR, the first module of the Intellectual Property (IP) course, on IP Protection and Valorization will take place at CIIMAR - Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões, on the 31st of October.

The GRINNAQUA consortium participated in the 21st International Conference on Diseases of Fish and Shellfish, in Aberdeen, setting up a project stand and taking the opportunity to hold its second progress meeting.

GRINNAQUA will be present with a stand and a scientific poster at the 21st International Conference on Disease of Fish and Shellfish. The conference will be held on the 11-14 September in Aberdeen, UK.

GRINNAQUA team introduced GRINNAQUA goals, focusing on how the project intends to help aquaculture practitioners address Portuguese aquaculture main issues

During two weeks, CIIMAR PhD students will receive comprehensive training to deepen their knowledge and enhance their expertise in transcriptomic analysis, building on the skills developed during the 1st GRINNAQUA workshop, on "omics tools".

Make the best use of accumulated knowledge and experience, CIIMAR organized a session where CIIMAR researchers who submitted successful proposals shared their tips, strategies and insights. GRINNAQUA researcher Rita Azeredo, who was able to secure a junior researcher CEEC shared her personal strategy.

PhD student Inês Carvalho, from the Animal Health and Aquaculture research team, concluded an internship of three months at the Center for Animal Health Research (CISA-INIA-CSIC) in Madrid, Spain, within the framework of the GRINNAQUA project.
